Kasey Inez is from Long Beach, California, and developed a passion for storytelling at the age of 13 when she started writing, directing, producing, and starring in her own short films. She was most recently on HBO Max’s SEX LIVES OF COLLEGE GIRLS and came onto the scene when she was announced as one of WBTV 10 Drama Students For the 2021 “Actors In Training” Virtual Casting Initiative. As an actress, her goal is to embody characters that put black women in a positive light in order to combat negative stereotypes within film and television. She recently starred as Naomi in Summer of Violence, directed by Nicki Micheaux.

Jahking Guillory (born May 14, 2001), is an American rapper and actor, best known for his starring role in the 2016 film, Kicks. Guillory appears in The Chi on Showtime, and the Netflix series On My Block as Latrelle. He was born and grew up in Long Beach, California.[1] His Creole father is from Louisiana, and his mother is from Guam. He has a younger sister. His father named him – “Jah” stands for God, and “King” stands for royalty. He most recently starred as Frank in the feature film Summer of Violence, directed by Nicki Micheaux.

He has also co-starred in the films The Last Airbender (2010), Whiplash (2014), and La La Land (2016) His is recently known for his role as Thomas, in Summer of Violence by Director Nicki Micheaux.

Pedro Correa most recently wrote, produced and stars-in the coming-of-age drama MY DEAD DAD, streaming on HBO Max, executive produced by Declan Baldwin of Big Indie Pictures (Manchester by the Sea). In-front of the camera, he has recurred on ABC’s hit sitcom THE MIDDLE, and has worked with the likes of Amazon, Hulu, Disney, and more.
Behind the camera, Pedro served as director for celebrity short films in the digital divisions of GQ Thailand, Esquire Singapore, Marie Claire Malaysia and Flaunt Magazine. Stars he directed include Nick Jonas, Ruby Rose, Constance Wu and many more. Nicki Micheaux is an award-winning actress, who’s an up-and-coming director with a fresh take on storytelling. Micheaux has a passion for creating emotionally powerful stories that explore themes of identity, family, and the power of love. Born and raised in Houston, Nicki was exposed to the entertainment industry at a young age. She developed a love of storytelling and decided to pursue a career in filmmaking. Nicki’s directorial debut came in 2010 with the short film, “Veil,” which led to the Disney Directing Program. She is now directing her first feature film, a story about a young woman’s journey to discover her true identity. She’s also directing her first documentary, a story about three brothers healing from the trauma of abuse and 30 years of incarceration. Micheaux is an avid storyteller and is passionate about creating stories that have the power to inspire and empower. With her new production company, she is committed to creating a safe and inclusive working environment on set and hopes to use her platform to bring more diverse voices and stories to the screen

Flowers began her career working for the late film director, screenwriter and producer John Singleton at his company, New Deal Productions. This opportunity ignited her passion for film as both an art form and a vehicle for change, and paved the way for her success as a creative collaborator with filmmakers and talent. New Deal is also where she made formative connections and began building her extensive network of professional peers in sales, distribution, finance and production.

Efuru has produced a variety of content: Sundance official selection Night Shift starring TV on the Radio’s Tunde Adebimpe (The Idol) and China Shavers (Judas and the Black Messiah); Urbanworld’s ‘Til Death starring Tamala Jones (Castle) and Sherman Augustus (Into the Badlands); ABFF’s Looking For Me starring Dayna Dooley (Insecure, The Upshaws); and Slow Pulse starring Jimmie Falls (The Last Black Man in San Francisco). She is currently in pre-production on TV pilot How To America; prepping feature project A Rooster on The Fire Escape (a Festival de Cannes’ Cinéfondation project); and is currently in post-production on Nicki Micheaux’s (In the Dark, The Shield) feature directorial debut Summer of Violence.

Flowers is an alumna of the Producers Guild of America’s program, The Power of Diversity; Sundance Film Festival; Sundance Institute’s Financing Intensive, Berlinale Talents (Market Studio); and a member of Women In Film. She attended UCLA, where she earned a degree in Sociology.

Sean Riggs is an American Actor and Producer born and raised in Chicago. He got his big break in “Stomp The Yard,” and Tyler Perry’s “If Loving You Is Wrong”. His most recent works include Days of Our Lives, “S.W.A.T.” BOSCH, & season 2 of the NETFLIX original hit series “You” . Sean Riggs recently appeared in the Amazon Prime cop drama original “Bosch”. After Co-Producing and starring in the NETFLIX hit action film “Call Me King” with Amin Joseph (Snowfall FX), he produced and led the super-hero action thriller “LAZARUS”. Which is just the beginning of a new universe. The feature film is part of a multi-feature deal with TUBI and Samuel Goldwyn Films.
